How To Join
Joining GMRS Hub
Joining GMRS HUB is a simple and straightforward process that requires no coding skills. We've streamlined the setup to ensure you can get connected quickly and easily. Here's how you can join our network:
- Create an GMRS Hub account: Create an account to get access to the GMRS Hub Member Pages
- Request a Node Number: "Get Your Node Number" and submit your node information and instantly receive your unique node number from GMRS HUB. This will be your identifier within our network.
- Download the Client File: Once you have your node number, download the client file from our website. This file contains everything you need to get started.
- Flash the Client File to a Raspberry Pi: Using a tool like Etcher or Raspberry Pi Imager and flash the client file to a microSD card. Insert the card into your Raspberry Pi.
- Boot Up and Configure: Power up your Raspberry Pi for the first time. During the initial boot, the setup will walk-thru connecting your pi to the internet, creating a supermon user, and then entering your node information.
That's it! You're now part of GMRS HUB, ready to connect and communicate with other GMRS operators.
